Lake Waco - FOM T - 05/23/26

Had the final tournament of the year for Fisher's of Men. My partner and I didn't have a great practice, not finding many fish in their usual spots but did find just a little something.

We started on that little something, which was some backwater in 2-4 feet way up the river, and caught plenty on a small chatterbait and shallow crankbait but only 1 had the size we were looking for at over 4 pounds. We looked around many other spots and then finally stumbled on a random area at the end of the day with very little time left and culled 3 times.

This area was just a shoreline on the main lake with lots of stickups. We may have had a better day if we had just found this kind of area in practice but all-in-all, at least we came up with a limit of 13.43 pounds and 6th place to finish out the year. We ended, what was mostly not a good year, in 5th place overall in points and I'll at least get a nice bonus for that.
