Bryan was fantastic! We booked Texas Hawgs for my stepsons 13th birthday, and it could not have been a better experience. He is fishing-obsessed, and Bryan was patient, knowledgeable, encouraging, and put him on some beautiful Lake Bastrop bass. The photos say it all - he was thrilled. Bryan also worked with us around a very busy Labor Day weekend and made the trip feel personal and special. He clearly knows the lake and is wonderful with young anglers. We would absolutely book with Texas Hawgs again. 5 stars!

I've fished with Bryan at Texas Hawgs several times over the years, mostly on Decker Lake, and he has consistently been one of the best fishing guides I've been out with. This time we changed it up and took my friend and his family out on Lake Austin, and Bryan delivered another great trip. Bryan has been guiding Central Texas lakes for more than 26 years, and it shows. He knows the water, knows where the fish should be, and - more importantly - knows how to adjust the trip to the people in the boat. Whether you're an experienced bass fisherman or bringing family members who don't fish all the time, he makes everyone comfortable, keeps things fun, and works hard to put you on fish. Lake Austin was an awesome change of scenery. Bryan knows how to fish the grass and structure on this lake, kept us moving and fishing, and made sure everyone had a great experience. His boat and equipment are top-notch, and he provides the rods, reels and tackle, so you can basically show up ready to fish. I've now fished multiple trips with Bryan, and there's a reason I keep coming back. He's knowledgeable, patient, easy to spend a day on the water with, and genuinely wants everyone in the boat to catch fish and have a good time. If you're looking for an Austin bass fishing guide, Lake Austin fishing guide, Central Texas fishing charter, or a great family fishing trip, I highly recommend Texas Hawgs and Bryan Cotter. Put us on fish even with crazy hot weather the past few weeks. Caught plenty of bass and was a great time. Great conversation, and knowledgeable guide. I will be using him in the future for sure.

Bryan is a top notch guide. I've fished all over the US and Mexico and the Caribbean and Bryan is one of the best I've had the pleasure to fish with. He's is a wealth of knowledge and has been fishing these lakes longer than some have been alive. He's also a great time to be on a water with. He'll put you on fish, no doubt.

My kids and I caught 12 large mouth bass during a great day on Lake Austin. Captain Bryan was very knowledgeable, attentive and patient. Through tips and encouragement He had my Kids casting by themselves by mid day. His boat is well equipped with new gear. Good conversation and stories. Highly recommend and will definitely go fishing with Captain Bryan again.

Bryan gave us such a great trip this morning - he had the know-how, the fun tips, and knew all the best spots that reflect someone with his experience on the water here. He kept three of us happily fishing and catching across ages 5, 9, and 43 - no small task. He was fun, easygoing, skillful, instructive and made sure everyone had a great time. We'll definitely be back!

I'm from Wisconsin and I booked with Bryan back in 2018 for a Father's Day fishing trip. It was such a great trip, I had to come back and do it again, so I brought my girlfriend down to get the same experience! We had some difficulties on the water this time around - about 45 minutes into the trip, his lower unit broke. We didn't get to fish as many spots as we wanted to, but he was still able to put us on fish. I landed a 24 1/2 inch, 8 pound 11 ounce largemouth. My girlfriend caught a 3 pound 9 ounce largemouth and Bryan caught a 24 inch, 8 pound 5 ounce largemouth, all caught on Lake Travis! We landed several more fish, but those were the biggest. I highly recommend getting out on the water with Bryan. He is a great guide, great host and a great all around guy to be around. Thanks again Bryan! Texas Hawgs baby!!!

I am so glad I chose Bryan to be my guide this morning - fishing with him was worth every penny. When you can say "I'm worn out because I caught fish all day," that's a good thing!!! Had a good time with Bryan and got a lot of questions answered on ways to properly fish the set ups I like to personally run. Will definitely be booking again when in the Austin area. I will be looking into booking a multi day trip in the near future. Thanks again for the knowledge sir!

Had a great time fishing Lake Bastrop with Bryan! I took my dad out for some fishing on Father's Day and Bryan certainly didn't disappoint. I'd absolutely recommend Bryan to anyone wanting to get some good bass fishing in.

Sometimes you just want easy. Pulled up to the dock with our breakfast tacos and Bryan pulled up. No pretense, just "hop on" and a few minutes later we were fishing. We fished the whole time, caught quite a few, and at noon, straight in, done. So easy. Well organized boat and equipment. Highly recommend.

My dad, brother and I had a great time fishing Lake Travis with Bryan. He worked hard to make sure we had an enjoyable trip and also shared his fishing knowledge - it was an awesome experience. Hopefully I can talk these two into doing a Falcon trip soon.

Bryan was fantastic! I wanted to take my 8 year old son out for a mom/son fishing trip where we'd catch some good sized fish - boy, were we pleased! Bryan kept us on the fish all morning! We caught several big stripers, and it was a blast watching my son reel them in. Then we moved on to largemouth bass and caught at least 8, mostly 3-4 lbs! Bryan was patient and helpful with both me and my son and we had a blast. Hope to get to do it again.

Glad we went with Texas Hawgs guide service - we couldn't have done it without Bryan's help. Taking us out on Falcon Lake was a great experience. First time ever there and landed monster bass - it was very exciting and fun.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to fish with Bryan Cotter on Lake Buchanan for the TTZ tournament. We won $10,000 out of his boat, on fish he had located! What an amazing experience for me. You can't go wrong fishing with Bryan. He has a great attitude, is fun to fish with, knowledgeable on most Texas lakes, and best of all, he finds BIG fish!! Five stars all the way.
