Lake Falcon is one of the most awesome lakes in the country. If you've never been, I'd highly suggest going - you won't regret it. I always say you haven't caught a real largemouth bass until you've caught one here; they're the meanest bass on the planet. Even in the blistering summer heat, when most lakes completely shut down, this lake can stay very good and giant five-bass limits still get caught. You should see how these big bass blow up on a frog when that bite is on - it's like a bomb going off.

Lake Falcon has a maximum depth of about 110 feet near the dam, though most of it is far shallower. For bass that depth is really just a map - I spend most of my time working structure in the upper 5 to 25 feet, and shallower still in spring and fall when the fish move up.
