Lake Austin Fishing Report - November 22, 2013

On the water November 22, 2013 · Lake Austin · by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs

Headed out on Lake Austin on a cold wet half day morning trip. It wasn't too bad since the rain held off. We got into them pretty decent on jigs and a crankbait. Even grabbed one on a frog. I think I found the same group of fish that I found the prior week 100 yards down the bank from where they were. All were solid 4+ lb fish. Once this area slowed down and after a few more spots, decided to hit what's been a good finish spot and it panned out. I got my client on a crankbait bite and he hooked and landed his personal best big bass at 7 lbs. What a great fish and a great way to end the day as the rain let loose right when Daron let his fish go. Great day on the water.
