Lake LBJ Fishing Report - February 26, 2009

On the water February 26, 2009 · Lake LBJ · by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs

Fished LBJ 7a-3p on this Thursday. Fishing was a little slower than it has been but still managed some numbers. Biggest landed today was about 4.5lbs and full of eggs. First 3-4 bass were caught on shallow round and square billed cranks. All other bass were caught on either flukes or jigs. There was no real pattern. Some were tight to walls or structure while others seemed to be just cruising the ledges. If you can't skip under docks to the back, your chances of catching are basically cut in half.
