Fayette County Fishing Report - March 14, 2011
On the water March 14, 2011 · Fayette County · by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs
During the week of spring break, we hit these lakes and it was game on. Lake Travis is on fire and we're catching a bunch of bass. There are even trips with some bigger bass being caught up into the 8-9 lb range. Most are smaller but a lot of fun. Great for the kids especially but a great chance for a big one. Lures used are mostly senkos, crawworms, spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Fayette County is fishing great as well with most fish in the 3-6lb range with a chance at a bigger one as well. We are using mostly senkos, flukes, some crankbaits and even a frog over spawning flats but the best bait in the grass areas are a Tornado by Hags Tornado Baits. Great product. Fun stuff! Book your trip today and come on out.
