Fayette County Fishing Report - May 29, 2013
On the water May 29, 2013 · Fayette County · by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs
Fishing was good yesterday on Fayette County. The wind was howling but we managed quite a few as has been the norm out there. Trips have been averaging 30-40 with some days doubling that. We started off on some previously productive water in the last few weeks only to find them not cooperating very well. After trying two areas that normally spit them out decided to go work a creek channel with a little rock in it. That was the ticket and we wore them out on this one spot using worms, crankbaits, an Alabama rig and Gila Monster Jrs from El Grande Lures. The biggest one going just over 5lbs. We caught over 30 with more than 2 dozen on that one spot. Good day on the water even though it was extremely windy.
