Lake Austin has been producing pretty good lately. Other than one day, we haven't caught less than 20 per day with some decent sized ones in the 6-7 lb class with some even bigger with missed opportunities. We've been seeing several in the 10+ range with a few looking to be around 13-14. These have been some hard fish to catch. It's good to still be seeing them out and about though. We've been catching good numbers on creature baits along with senkos, crankbaits and jigs. The most exciting and explosive action though has been on a frog and that's what most of the bigger fish have come on. I've been sticking to mostly upper lake with a few trips going down to mid lake. The most action seems to be upper lake though. Just look for pockets in the grass to pitch in or for very well defined grass lines to work the edges or for throwing the frog over.
Book now and let's go catch them!
