Choke Canyon Fishing Report - January 13, 2007
On the water January 13, 2007 · Choke Canyon · by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs
Fishing was somewhat slow on a cloudy day with a few showers mixed in. The weather was perfect though for anything related to the outdoors like fishing, duck hunting and deer hunting. We had a good day with 17 fish caught, most all in the 3-4lb range. The biggest one was 4.5 pounds. Our best 5 was 19.25lbs. The best technique was shallow crankbaits starting out then deeper cranks as the day went on. Deep finesse worms worked as well. We caught fish from 2 feet down to 24 feet.
