Choke Canyon Fishing Report - January 26, 2007
On the water January 26, 2007 · Choke Canyon · by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs
Fishing was slow on a partly cloudy day. The weather was nice. We only caught 7 fish today though, mostly in the 2-4lb range. The biggest one was 5.5 pounds. Our best 5 was 19lbs. The best technique was deep crankbaits starting out then medium cranks and traps as the day went on. We caught fish from 2 feet down to 14 feet. On the last cast, I had one that was easy over 9-10 swirl at my lure as I pulled it out of the water. Can't wait to get back. ;-)
