Choke Canyon Fishing Report - September 27, 2007
On the water September 27, 2007 · Choke Canyon · by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs
Fished from 7am till 2:30pm. The fishing was great, catching over 4 dozen fish mostly in the 2-3+ pound class with a 9 pound kicker ending up with over 22lbs best 5. The day started out though with a rush, hooking up and bringing to the boat a 10 foot alligator. What a fight! After dropping my clients off at 3pm, I headed back out to look at some other water. I found 2 more areas that produced some really nice toads. I caught 3 over 5 and one at 4.5 to push the best 5 of the day over 30 lbs. The total amount of bass caught now well exceeded 5 dozen nice solid fish. What a day!
