Lake Austin Fishing Report

On the water · September 12, 2007

Fished from 6:30pm till 10pm. Fished some of the same areas as last Friday. Missed a few nice ones in the 3-4 pound class on a Stanley Ribbit frog. The first fish landed was the best one of the evening at 5.46 lbs. After we fished to the end of that area, we headed right back to the tree where I caught the nice 5+ on Friday, and sure enough, she was there yet again when my partner hooked and landed her. After the sun went down we headed back down lake and started catching them on the grass lines. My partner landed a 3-pounder and the others were dinks. We ended up with 3 fish for 13.68 lbs - good enough for big bass and 2nd place. Nice!
