Lake Buchanan is getting better by the week. The bass are setting up on rock piles, ledges and points, and they're willing to bite.
A mix of jigs, swimbaits, shaky heads and Texas-rigged craws and worms will put a bunch of fish in the boat right now. Work the structure slowly and thoroughly.
If you're after the big ones, don't skip the deeper rock piles. Slow a jig across them or grind a deep-diving crankbait through them -- that's where the bigger Buchanan bass are hanging out.
