Lake Buchanan 12/4/2020

Went to Lake Buchanan and met some clients later in the day to get on some of those Buchanan fatties. We had great luck starting off in one of the creeks working a little offshore using soft plastics. You had to really work your bait slow and some of the bites were so soft you really couldn't even feel them. Once you started to reel in though, the line would either be moving to the side or continue under the boat.

Big hooksets were the key to getting those fish in the boat. Spending half the trip in the creeks, it was time to move over to some rock piles. After hitting a few and catching a couple fish on each, I hit a pretty big one and it was lights out. My clients had lots of doubles and catching quite a few on almost every cast for a while. Good times finishing off the day like this.

After dropping off my clients, I decided to go back out for a bit and shoot some drone footage. I hit another rock pile and started flying the area. After shooting around the area, I hovered the drone over me to catch some fishing action and I proceeded to catch some. The wind had disappeared at this time so the shots came out awesome. I posted up some pics so if you aren't following Texas Hawgs, follow me over on Facebook and Instagram. Actually, I'm listed as bryan.cotter on Instagram. See you there!
