Lake Travis Fishing Report - November 24, 2018
On the water November 24, 2018 · Lake Travis · by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs
Took some clients out on Lake Travis late morning. Very nice day to be out and after the full moon, the bite should have been on around midday. It was still a little off but we caught fish. Most came off deeper ledges in 12-25 foot of water throwing Texas rigged soft plastics and jigs. The 2 biggest bass, a 3 pounder and a 6 pounder came on the jig around 9-12 FOW.
Finding rocks is very important right now with the water temperatures coming down. Working your baits really slowly always helps as well in the colder weather.
Late Fall and Winter is usually your best bet at a big bass because there is much less pressure on the fish. It's a great time to get out, just dress accordingly. It's also a great time to plan for the spring time. Book now to get your dates. Thanks...
