Lake Travis Fishing Report

Took some clients out on Lake Austin on Wednesday and we had fun using senkos, trick worms, lizards and a fluke. The biggest went 5.5 lbs and we caught around 20. Fun times for sure.

On Thursday, I took one of the clients on a night trip on Lake Travis. We started out on a ledge and caught a few dozen largemouth and Guadalupe bass here up to over 4 lbs using crankbaits and a trick worm. After the sun went down, we headed out for some lights. First stop we caught 8-9 using crankbaits. We then moved onto another light and that's where we stayed and really cleaned them out. We caught several on crankbaits but then I switched my client to a jigging spoon and he got hammered by a nice striped bass. It went just over 7 lbs and it was a fighter. After releasing it, we began to slay the whites and we probably ended up catching 40 or so. What a night. We caught a few crappie as well. I think the final count was pushing 70 but who cares when you're catching that many. Book today and I'll get you out on some of that action.
